Pregnancy after loss brings its own set of anxieties and challenges that require specialized support throughout the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum periods. Pregnancy Loss
Every person's experience with pregnancy loss is unique, and everyone grieves differently. Whether you're experiencing a miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, or termination for medical reasons, I'm here to support you the way YOU need.
Birth/bereavement doula services while in the hospital (if applicable)
- Postpartum care in-person, over the phone, or virtually based on your needs
- Memory making opportunities through footprints, molds/castings, and photographs
- Support resources and referrals provided
- Sensitive assistance preparing for the days ahead (disposition options, funeral home arrangements, meal trains, etc.)
Pricing:
First two weeks post-loss: Donations support my ability to offer the following services free of charge. No one will be left without support and resources due to funds
Services include:
- Hospital support (if applicable, see above)
- One in-person postpartum visit
- Four 30-minute virtual support sessions
- Text support
- Support resources and referrals provided
Two-weeks post loss and beyond:
$400/mo
Services include:
- One 30-minute virtual support session per week
- Extensive email support
- Resources and referrals as needed
Add-on virtual or phone support sessions:
$50 for 30-minutes
$75 for 60-minutes

Birth Doula for Pregnancy After Loss
I provide birth doula support to all, but specialize in the needs of those experiencing pregnancy after loss.
Birth doula services include:
- One or two prenatal visits to create a birth plan and discuss your specific support needs
- Evidence-based information on pregnancy, labor, and delivery
- Texting, phone call, and email support throughout pregnancy
- Labor support starting when requested, meeting at your home or delivery location
- 24/7 on-call support starting at 38 weeks
- In-person support for 2 hours following birth
- One in-home postpartum visit to check in and debrief about the birth experience
- Referrals to local and online resources as needed
Cost of Services: $800
*Sliding scale and barter options can be discussed on a case by case basis
Perinatal Bereavement Education
Educational opportunities are tailored to the audience requesting them. Bereavement education is available for doulas, outpatient clinical and administrative staff, nurses, lactation consultants, ED and OR staff, midwives, and physicians.
Examples of topics:
- Helpful/harmful things to say and do
- Importance of memory making and mementos
- Photography
- Physical needs based on gestation
- Sensitive ways to approach care in outpatient setting
- Important options to be clearly discussed
- Disposition options for different categories of loss
- And many more!

Perinatal Loss Consulting
Any organization looking to establish or expand pregnancy loss grief and bereavement services
Ways I can help:
- Obtain and organize support and memory making supplies
- Establish processes and work flow for utilizing supplies in an efficient manner
- Assess facility for potential triggers and necessary accommodations
- Educate staff on perinatal bereavement and any new processes
- Provide resources to your clients/patients
- Offer guidance on how to start and facilitate a support group
- Doula-doula coaching while you support your client through their loss
